Atlas Copco AIRnet piping system

ATLAS Copco has released a robust lightweight aluminium tube, the AIRnet piping system which is suitable for use in the drilling and blasting industry.

The company says that the system has been designed for quick assembly and to ensure minimum pressure drop for maximum energy savings.

The AIRnet is designed to be easily and quickly installed, reducing both installation time and costs.

Atlas Copco says the system features aluminium pipes maintain a minimum pressure drop throughout the air distribution system, avoiding pressure losses and reducing power consumption and a modular concept design is aimed at reducing leakages in the network.

The non-corrosive properties of AIRnet are designed to maintain a constant air quality from the compressor room to the production equipment. AIRnet is designed to be compatible with most types of compressor oils and can be submitted to a working temperature from -20°C up to 70°C, and pressures up to 13 bars.
