AuDAX Resources has announced will float a drilling tender for exploration and appraisal wells in the Dougga gas condensate field and the nearby Sambuca prospect off Tunisia.

The company said Sambuca contains the same reservoirs as the Dougga gas condensate field in addition to the shallower Birsa oil reservoirs.

The prospect holds a P50 unrisked recoverable resource potential of 270 million barrels of oil equivalent, the company said. It added a discovery at Sambuca may be jointly developed with the nearby Dougga field.

The Dougga field holds 74.5 million barrels of oil equivalent in gas and condensate resources, AuDAX said.
