CAMECO has announced that it has completed exploratory drilling at the Angela project, Northern Territory.
The uranium mining company says it hopes to have a resource estimate by April 2010 and begin a scoping study by the end of the year.
Environmental monitoring and rehabilitation work will continue at the prospect.
Project manager Stephan Stander says Cameco will also investigate the permeability of bedrock underneath the uranium ore while its geological modelling is underway.
