Exploratory drilling the natural way is cost-effective

THE CSIRO has released a podcast which informs exploration companies on nature’s alternative to drilling.

The CSIRO has been working with the Adelaide University and Geoscience Australia to determine more cost effective and environmentally friendly ways of locating gold, nickel, copper, zinc, lead and uranium.

In this podcast, CSIRO Exploration and Mining scientist, Dr Ravinder Anand, explains how termites, trees and kangaroo droppings can point towards the presence of precious metals beneath the earth.
