SEGUE Resources says recent results warrant further exploration to investigate the potential of Pardoo iron ore project in Pilbara hosting an economic magnetite resource is warranted.
The company has placed an iron ore exploration target of between 900 million tonnes and 1.1 billion tonnes on the project following reconnaissance field exploration work.
To that end, a follow-up program to determine the depth and grade of the magnetite mineralisation is being planned.
The iron ore exploration target range for Pardoo is expected to average grades of about 30-40% Fe.
