Silver drilling estimates finalised

CONSULTANTS have completed resource estimates for a silver project near Glenn Innes on the NSW northern tablelands.

Forty-six reverse circulation holes totalling 5429m in depth were drilled over four mineralised centres as part of the Silver Mines project.

Estimates inferred resources to a depth of 200m, and suggested the resource may be amenable to open-cut mining in its upper section.

Prospects drilled to date all contain silver-rich polymetallic mineralisation and remain open.

According to the company, closing the drill spacing to 12.5m pierce points along strike should enhance the estimates.
