Woodside Energy fuels the future generation

WOODSIDE Energy invited Year 10 students from Karratha Senior High School and St Luke’s College to learn about the 6 processes of the oil and gas industry.

Representatives and staff from Woodside Energy, Schlumberger and The Petroleum Club presented the 6 processes: Exploration, Drilling, Production, Transport, Refining and Sustainable Development.

The excursion was part of the Schools Information Program (SIP) which is a research-centred and designed education program to maximise student and teacher interaction with various aspects of the oil and gas industry.

The students will use this information to develop a project which will be judged with the Grand Final Awards Ceremony held at government House on Friday 13 November 2009.
