TESTEQUIP has released a new endoscope to check mechanical and electrical equipment used in mining applications.

According to the company, the Handy Fiberscope features built-in illumination for optimum visibility and can be used without dismantling and disrupting facilities.

The scope has a viewing scope of 45 degrees and is able to see objects within distances of 1.9cm to 2.5cm.

According to the company, the product has ‘gooseneck’ tubing to hold configured shapes and an ergonomic handle with one-hand operation to optimise viewing.

The unit also features a side-viewing adaptor that can rotate 360 degrees and can be tested for exposure to water, diesel, gasoline, brake fluid, gas, motor oil and gear oil.
