EXIMO has released a bag-type dust filter designed to collect large particles in mining applications.
According to the company, the Screw Dust Collector is suited to large applications and comes with a standard filter media or 401gm polyester bag.
The unit is made from 1.25 to 2.0mm galvanized plate steel and is available with fire dampeners and a micro switch connected to the main extraction fan.
The collector uses positive pressure which is said to make it more effective and easier to clean and save on replacement costs.
According to the company, the modular units feature greater air flow throughput to lower power usage and reduce downtime.
Eximo says users are able to save up to 60% on dust collection costs when used in conjunction with energy-saving pneumatic blast gates.
